How big are 3XL, 4XL, 5XL and 6XL football jerseys really? Flat measurements in cm and inches, how to measure yourself, and fan vs player fit for bigger fans.
Our 6XL football jersey measures 142 cm (55.9 in) around the chest of the shirt and 88 cm (34.6 in) long. Almost every jersey in our store is listed from S to 4XL, and 5XL and 6XL are available on request ā with any name and number. Below are the real measurements, so you can order once and get it right.
Official club shops often stop at XXL, and the big sizes sell out first. Many sellers also label shirts “4XL” that fit like a US 2XL. That’s why we publish the shirt’s own measurements instead of a guess.
How big are 3XL, 4XL, 5XL and 6XL?
Measured on the shirt laid flat. “Shirt chest” is armpit to armpit Ć 2 ā the size of the shirt, not of your body. Measurements may vary by 1ā3 cm.

How to pick your size
- Measure a shirt you love. Lay a T-shirt that fits you well flat, measure straight across from armpit to armpit and double it. Pick the jersey size with the closest shirt chest.
- Or measure yourself. Wrap a tape around the widest part of your chest, under the arms. For a comfortable fan fit, choose a shirt chest about 8ā12 cm (3ā5 in) bigger than your body.
- Check the length. Bigger sizes are cut longer too ā our 5XL is 85 cm and 6XL is 88 cm ā so the shirt still covers the waistband.
Fan version or player version?
For bigger builds, choose the fan version. It has a straighter, roomier cut. Player versions are made to sit tight on athletes and usually feel one size smaller.
